Akshay Gupta
Dr. Gupta obtained his undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta. He attended medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his fellowships in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Dr. Gupta is board certified in clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
He specializes in cardiac electrophysiology and has special interest in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias and cardiac device implantation. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society. Dr. Gupta is the Director Of Electrophysiology at Piedmont Henry Hospital and also serves on the Board of Directors. In 2023 he was reconzied as a Top Doc by Atlanta Magazine. He is accepting patients at our Mcdonough and Riverdale offices.
