Andrea Gibson

Andrea Bernard began her professional practice with Atlanta Heart Associates in 2017, but spent 7 years prior to that as an inpatient cardiac registered nurse. She earned a degree in Psychology, then later her Registered Nursing degree from DeKalb College, and then ultimately her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Walden University – with a focused concentration on Acute Care Adult Gerontology. From there, she obtained a clinical specialty certification in Adult Cardiac Medicine from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. She currently holds memberships to both the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, as well as the United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Georgia. Andrea is part of our amazing team at Piedmont Henry Hospital.
