Dr. Egbe graduated from the College of Medicine at the University of Lagos, Nigeria in 1980. He completed a residency in preventative medicine and earned a master’s degree from Yale School of Medicine. Afterwards, he completed his internship and residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, New York.
Dr. Egbe is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He is a member of the Atlanta Medical Association and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Egbe is a former Chief of Staff of South Fulton Medical Center and is currently Co-Chairman of Cardiology and Cath Lab Director at Atlanta Medical South in East Point, GA.He currently sees patients at our East Point, Riverdale and Camp Creek locations.
